A Little Lamp Makeover

Miss M needed a new lamp in her room. Her other one was small and finally broke after being pulled off the dresser too many times. I had an extra lamp base and shade sitting around. It's nothing fancy so I decided to spruce up the shade a little bit.

It was just a plain linen covered shade. Here's the before:

With a little hot glue gun action and some ric-rac and about 5 minutes of my time. Here's the after:

I love it. It adds just a touch of cuteness and it adds a pop of dark pink to her super pink room makeover.
